With offices in Hanover and Hamelin, we are an agile and experienced provider of camera-based 3D reconstruction and computer vision solutions for navigation and scene analysis. We always strive to find the optimal solution for our customers.

VISCODA's journey began with a research project on integrating virtual objects into film scenes for film production at Leibniz University Hannover. The result, the “Voodoo Camera Tracker” (2004), provides precise 3D reconstruction and camera estimation from an image sequence. Further developments of this software brought VISCODA to the attention of major OEMs in the automotive sector (2009).

Since then, VISCODA has been active in camera-based vehicle environment detection in both pre-development and series production. At the same time, the development of innovative technologies is being driven forward in research projects with companies and universities, among others.

The focus is on combining classic methods with AI methods for applications such as the detection, localization, and tracking of people, vehicles, curbs, road damage, or charging stations. Current projects demonstrate the transferability of these methods to the building sector, building information modeling (BIM), flight planning for UAVs, and smart airports.
